Les barrages sont de grandes structures complexes qui n\u00e9cessitent une surveillance et une maintenance r\u00e9guli\u00e8res pour garantir un fonctionnement s\u00fbr et efficace. En l&rsquo;absence d&rsquo;une surveillance ad\u00e9quate, les barrages peuvent \u00eatre mis en p\u00e9ril, entra\u00eenant des ruptures catastrophiques qui peuvent causer des pertes de vies humaines et des dommages importants aux biens et aux infrastructures.  <br> La surveillance g\u00e9otechnique des barrages implique la surveillance des propri\u00e9t\u00e9s physiques et m\u00e9caniques de la structure du barrage et de ses fondations. Il s&rsquo;agit notamment de surveiller la d\u00e9formation, la stabilit\u00e9 et le tassement du barrage, ainsi que la pression de l&rsquo;eau interstitielle et les infiltrations \u00e0 travers le barrage et les fondations. <br> La surveillance des barrages hydrologiques comprend la surveillance des niveaux d&rsquo;eau et des d\u00e9bits \u00e0 l&rsquo;int\u00e9rieur et autour du barrage. Il s&rsquo;agit notamment de surveiller les entr\u00e9es et les sorties d&rsquo;eau du barrage, ainsi que les niveaux d&rsquo;eau dans le r\u00e9servoir et en aval du barrage. <br> Les instruments de surveillance g\u00e9otechnique et hydrologique des barrages ont pour but de d\u00e9tecter tout changement dans la structure du barrage ou dans l&rsquo;environnement qui pourrait compromettre la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 et la stabilit\u00e9 du barrage. Cela implique la mesure des d\u00e9formations verticales et horizontales, des inclinaisons et des rotations du barrage et de ses composants. <\/li>\n<li>Infiltration : La surveillance des infiltrations vise \u00e0 d\u00e9tecter les fuites ou les \u00e9coulements d&rsquo;eau \u00e0 travers la fondation, le remblai ou les cul\u00e9es du barrage. Elle comprend la mesure des niveaux d&rsquo;eau, des d\u00e9bits et de la pression des eaux souterraines, entre autres param\u00e8tres. <\/li>\n<li>\u00c9rosion interne : La surveillance de l&rsquo;\u00e9rosion interne permet de rep\u00e9rer les vides ou les cavit\u00e9s r\u00e9sultant du ruissellement \u00e0 l&rsquo;int\u00e9rieur du barrage, dans le sol ou la roche. Elle implique des mesures pi\u00e9zom\u00e9triques, de tassement et de d\u00e9formation. <\/li>\n<li>Stabilit\u00e9 de la fondation : Le contr\u00f4le de la stabilit\u00e9 de la fondation implique la mesure des mouvements, l&rsquo;\u00e9valuation de la r\u00e9sistance, de la rigidit\u00e9 et de la capacit\u00e9 de d\u00e9formation de celle-ci.
