Dans les structures et les syst\u00e8mes g\u00e9otechniques, tels que les ponts, les barrages ou les tunnels souterrains, les fluctuations de temp\u00e9rature peuvent entra\u00eener une dilatation ou une contraction importante des mat\u00e9riaux utilis\u00e9s. <\/li>\n<li>Propri\u00e9t\u00e9s des mat\u00e9riaux : la temp\u00e9rature influe sur les propri\u00e9t\u00e9s m\u00e9caniques des mat\u00e9riaux. Par exemple, la r\u00e9sistance et la rigidit\u00e9 du b\u00e9ton, de l&rsquo;acier ou du sol peuvent varier en fonction de la temp\u00e9rature. <\/li>\n<li>Gradients thermiques : les diff\u00e9rences de temp\u00e9rature \u00e0 travers une structure ou un syst\u00e8me g\u00e9otechnique peuvent cr\u00e9er des gradients thermiques qui peuvent induire des contraintes internes. Diff\u00e9rentes technologies de mesure peuvent \u00eatre choisies pour r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 tous les objectifs de surveillance : sondes \u00e0 r\u00e9sistance de platine (RTP \/ PT-100) ou sondes \u00e0 thermistance.
