The project will generate 109 GWh\/year with an installed capacity of 22.5 MW, a discharge of 6.0 m\u00b3\/s and a gross head of 418 m.<br>The project consists of a 40 m high gravity dam impounding a reservoir of approx 100.000 m\u00b3 of capacity, a 2.8 km long headrace tunnel excavated by drill and blast method, a 2.4 km long buried penstock, an outdoor powerhouse equipped with two Pelton units of 11.25 MW capacity each.<br>Sisgeo Latinoamerica has carried out the final monitoring system design, has supplied and installed the instruments and has connected them to the OMNIAlog automatic data logger.<br>The monitoring system data are managed through the WMS Web Monitoring System platform.<\/p>\n<p>For more information:<br><a href=\"http:\/\/www.latinoamerica.sisgeo.com\/es\/proyectos\/proyectos-latinoamerica\/proyecto-ojo-de-agua\">www.latinoamerica.sisgeo.com<\/a><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Ojo de Agua hydropower project is located close to the village El Carbon in the community of San Esteban (Olancho) in the north east of Honduras.
