RDS - Railway Deformation System

The RDS is a system designed by Sisgeo to monitor both longitudinal deformation and twisting of the railways. The system is based on digital tilt sensors mounted on sleepers for twisting monitoring (transversal RDS gauges) and digital beam mounted in chains along the railway (longitudinal RDS gauges). The longitudinal gauges should be substituted by microprisms for mixed RDS-topographical system. All the gauges shall be connected to OMNIAlog datalogger that store data and send them through GPRS/3G modem on the WMS software for data validation, graphs and alarms.
