SISGEO is proud to share the choice to collaborate with the University of Parma. In particular, the performance of the H-Level system developed by SISGEO was investigated through a research convention. The working group involved Prof. Ing. Freddi (professor of Building Science), Eng. Chiapponi (Laboratory Professor of Hydraulic and Control Measurement) and Prof. Ing. Longo (Professor of Hydraulics) of the University of Parma.

'System' is intended as the set of: reference tank, reference Gauge, H-Level Gauges and hydraulic liquid.

SISGEO already supplies every single H-Level Gauge with its own Calibration Report, but the aim of the research is to reduce the influence on the system of the exogenous variables typical of field applications.

Finally, the system will be validated with an installation on a prestigious building in the Province of Parma: a bridge designed by Eng. Riccardo Morandi in 1954. The work, an arch bridge with an upper path and made of reinforced concrete cast on site, will be monitored through two different H-LEVEL systems: the purpose of this monitoring, in addition to the validation on field of our sensors, is to support the Province of Parma in the maintenance of the bridge and provide feedback on the consolidation interventions currently being defined.
