Tunnel monitoring – chapter 4 – Underground stations
Tunnel monitoring – chapter 4 – Underground stations

In this set of video (Tunnel monitoring) we would like to present some monitoring solutions that could be used during tunnel excavation. The chapter 4 is dedicated to the underground stations monitoring, usually excavated with the cut and cover method. The instruments proposed are vibrating wire strain gauges and load cells to monitor stress and loads on struts, digital inclinometer probe and digital BH profile in place inclinometers to monitor horizontal displacements of diaphragms and piezometers to control pore pressure.
