Key Focus: Monitoring of a retaining wall during the excavation phase to ensure the stability of adjacent buildings.
THE PROJECT
The Larvotto Real Estate project is located in the city of Monaco. It aims to create a new building of 35m height and 4 underground levels, in a very confined aera with a high level of value per square meter.
The first phase aims to cut the slope, secure the 2 existing buildings upwards and prepare the deep excavations.
THE SOLUTION
Before starting any work, the existing buildings have been equipped by our client UBY Monaco with 2 automatic inclinometers systems.
Therefore the 360° MD-Profile was chosen, which brings the maximal precision and stability, as well as a very light installation procedure.
2 Boreholes have been automatized with each 40m of 1m-base MD-Profile 360.
