The MD-Profile 360° is Sisgeo’s new wheel-less IPI system. It offers high-precision deformation monitoring for geotechnical and structural applications. The instrument provides reliable measurements in both grooveless tubes and traditional inclinometer casings.
Advanced Mechanical Design
The MD-Profile 360° uses a carbon-fiber body for low weight and high durability. Its centering system prevents interference between adjacent gauges. This design ensures stable readings during complex ground movements.
Removable Pressors for Multiple Tube Diameters
The system features removable pressors for fast adaptation to different tube IDs. Available kits fit 52 mm, 58 mm, and 73 mm internal diameters. This modular design increases flexibility on every job site.
New IP68 Connector
The connector has been fully redesigned for strength and reliability. Each unit is individually tested to IP68 up to 1 MPa. Optional tests up to 2 MPa are available on request.
360° Calibration Technology
The MD-Profile 360° uses Sisgeo’s advanced 360° calibration method. Each MEMS axis is calibrated separately for maximum accuracy. The system maintains ±0.0055% full-scale accuracy across the entire 360° range. Calibration reports are provided as standard for every device.
Proven Repeatability in Long Chains
Extensive tests were performed with the University of Parma. Results confirmed excellent repeatability along long instrument strings. Adjacent gauges remain unaffected by local movements. Readings stabilize within three hours after installation.
ISO 18674-3 Compliance
The MD-Profile 360° fully meets ISO 18674-3 requirements. This compliance ensures reliable performance for critical monitoring projects.
Typical Applications
The system is ideal for deep excavations and diaphragm walls. It supports settlement monitoring in embankments. It performs well in landslide and slope stability fields. It is highly effective in tunneling and TBM influence zones.
Data Acquisition Compatibility
The MD-Profile 360° works with Mine, Voilog, and Omnilog units. It supports long chains with up to 247 gauges.
Modbus RS485 integration is available for third-party systems.monitoring in deep excavations, diaphragm walls, embankments, landslides, tunneling, and all applications requiring continuous and accurate shape control.
