Localisation

Metrocable is an extensive network of gondola cars that stretch up into the surrounding mountains for urban passenger mobilization in Medellín, Colombia.

It consists of several commercial service lines, such as: J, K, H, L, T, M and P Line , which have a total extension of more than 15 kilometers.

If you lived in the neighbourhoods further away from the centre, it was difficult to get into the city for important things like work, school, and food. The Metrocable improves accessibility and is a huge factor in transforming the city.

SISGEO LATINOAMÉRICA, in conjunction with Arredondo Madrid Ingenieros Civiles S.A.S. (AIM), carried out the supply and the installation of the red stripe inclinometer casing.

The aim of this installation is to monitor the possible inclination of the pile foundations.

This collaboration is part of the geotechnical monitoring in the different lines of the Valle de Aburrá Limitada mass transport company.
